Siebring Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of
equipment for the greenhouse industry. Some of the products
produced include sprayers, furnaces, waste oil heaters, soil
sterilization equipment.
Smak Incorporated is hiring individuals in George and the
surrounding areas for corn detasseling jobs that will be available
this July. These jobs will pay $9.00 per hour with bonuses and time
and a half pay ($13.50 per hour) for Sunday working hours.
Applicants must be at least 14 years of age. Bus transportation will
be provided to and from the fields which are located by Storm Lake
and Whiting, Iowa. Smak Inc. representatives will be in George and
Boyden on Wednesday, June 5th to meet any interested workers or
parents. We will be at the Old Park in George from 5:30 pm until
6:00 pm. , in Boyden at Centennial Park from 6:30 until 7:00 pm. We
would also be interested in talking to a potential bus driver from
the area.
